First thing is to try and find out what is irritating him/her. Common things are:
- New foods? - dairy, nuts, fruits, seafood are very common... Keep in mind breastfeeding mothers try to avoid foods with these in them.
here is a great Link with great information on allergies, how it can be treated?
- Laundry Soap? - try using a non scented laundry soaps. we use this one - Tide free and gentle.
- Bath Soap? Try using a gentle non soap cleanser. we use cetaphil
- perfumes/lotion with perfumes in them? I don't use these anymore. Instead use non scented lotions.
Keep your babies skin hydrated- Right after a shower/bath apply a moisturizer and a protectant
I used Cetaphil moisturizing cream + hydrophor skin Ointment. This has been the perfect combination. Another thing is to Keep your babies nails short and clean. I would put mitts on his hands and even socks.
Some products I've tried and worked but not as well-
The two things that caught my eye on this product is ORGANIC and ECZEMA. This product smells Great, but he was still scratching.
This product is good for that instant scratch relief. But will not be enough moisture to keep the eczema away.

Have a nice day!!
i would like to thank the publisher of this blog for posting this usefull post, While there are many natural treatment for eczema, you will probably want to try them one at a time until you determine which ones work for you, because every remedy does not work for every person. You might begin with fish oil. Some studies have shown fish oil to be effective in controlling the itchy skin and inflammation. If you don't get enough in your regular diet, there are fish oil capsules that you can take as a dietary supplement.Read more at-natural treatment eczema
